I was born in Eastern Europe, living in Communist Yugoslavia in the Republic of Montenegro. I have lived a very active and exciting life journeying to America and now traveling the world. One day my wife has asked me to write about my memories of my good and bad experiences while living in Montenegro. She says I have lived a wonderful life and has been mesmerized by many with my stories. I started writing my memoirs and got sidetracked. Suddenly I was pouring out children's stories, one after the other. I came to the USA when I was 20 years old. I learned to speak and read the language but never really learned to write English. I write my stories in the form of Serbian/Montenegrin shorthand. Then my wife types it in English as I dictate it to her. She cleans it up and works with illustrators to create the final piece. Someday, I will finish my memoirs called "Bozidar," but I am having fun writing books for children until then.

There is a treasured book about a wee dog in Ireland that is soon to be published, and more collaboration with her daughter in the works like Ben's Zipper. Exciting times in the making! We hope in bringing a gentle nudge to children throughout the world in living a life that is full of kindness, understanding, and having unlimited dreams for the future no matter who they are.
